First two days

I’ve now completed my first two days on the road which have been tiring to say the least. Both mornings I’ve woken up with my leg muscles aching and sore wrists. That’s all to be expected though because my fitness preparation wasn’t too thorough and the bike seems to weigh a ton. I can just about lift it onto curbs….

Failing to plan is planning to fail

My bedroom is an absolute mess. It’s overflowing with a mixture of vital bike equipment and useless paraphernalia, a mixture unlikely to be untangled before I go. In fact, I’m now sleeping in my brother’s bedroom for lack of space to sleep in mine. As a result, it’s almost certain I will leave something important behind. To-do lists are scattered…
